Adam & Danae’s wedding day – cleveland ohio wedding photographer

Yesterday was the wedding of Adam and Danae. The wedding day started with Danae getting ready at the Hawthorne Suites. We then moved to The Oaks Lodge , in Chippewa Lake, Ohio where both the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception were held. It was super humid but we were so lucky that we didn’t get a drop of rain. The Oaks Lodge is really a hidden gem. For me, as a wedding photographer, or just as a photographer in general, every nook and cranny (I’ve always wanted to use that phrase in a sentence) offer a great starting point for a fantastic image. Something New Entertainment were wonderful to work with, taking care of Adam and Danae and being more than patient with us as we did our thing. They kept the party moving forward all night. Adam and Danae allowed me to do what I do, even, after 14 hours, they allowed me one last series of images. Thank you to Adam, Danae, their family and friends for allowing us to take part in this beautiful wedding day. Here is just a sample of the wedding photography.

Ryan & Halle’s engagement session – cleveland ohio wedding photographer

Yesterday Ryan and Halle had their first engagement session (multiple sessions are always included in our wedding service). There were a number of reasons that I was looking forward to this. First, I photographed Halle’s sister, Katelyn’s, wedding a few years ago and one of my images from her wedding ended up on the cover of Today’s Bride Magazine. So we had to try and top that (sorry, Katelyn). Secondly, Halle had some GREAT ideas about what she wanted to try during the session. I ALWAYS love to try out new ideas. So, with the help of Halle’s parents, we put a sofa in the middle of a pasture and went to town (I only stepped in cow poop ONCE!!). The session turned out great and I’m looking forward to the next one and more of Halle’s great ideas. Here are a few images from the session.

John & Allison’s Firestone Country Club wedding reception

John and Allison are married!! The wedding day started with Allison and some of her bridesmaids getting their make up done at Headliners Salon and Day Spa in Canton, Ohio. Then to A Different Angle for her hair. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Vincent church in Akron, Ohio. And, finally, the wedding reception, featuring Beach Boyz Entertainment and their photo booth, took place at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio (Great job, Christian!). John, Allison, Allison’s mom and Personal Touch Event Planning did an awesome job of putting the entire wedding day together and planning the perfect wedding day. And the perfect day it was. Swarovski crystals EVERYWHERE, Jimmy Choo’s on Allison’s feet, David Yurman on ONE of her fingers. John, Allison, both of their families and the entire wedding party, thank you for being SO great to work with. Thank you for having Spencer Photography capture this wonderful day!! Steve & Tara’s Cuyahoga Falls wedding and Reception

Yesterday was Steve and Tara’s wedding. The wedding itself was held at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Then it was off to Wickliffe, Ohio for the reception at the Pine Ridge Country Club. Hat’s Off Entertainment did a fabulous job as they always do and the entire day went without a single hitch. This is a testament to the careful and thorough planning by Tara and Steve. They booked us well over a year ago (Tara told me that we were the very FIRST thing that they booked for their wedding!!!) They were SO great allowing us to get everything that we felt was important (even standing in all that smoke!!) Thank you sooo much guys for having us!! Here are a few images from the day.

Steve & Katie’s Cleveland Ohio photography session

Yesterday, after an attempt the day before that was hindered by rain, I met up with Steve and Katie for their first engagement session. As I headed into downtown I got excited (like I normally do before EVERY session) because there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and I know that this means GREAT light in the city. We met on East 4th Street, probably THE most photographed section of town. Since this area has been used so much by so many photographers (and for good reason, the place is awesome) I really wanted to try and capture images in a different way, if that was possible. Steve and Katie were great (Katie has been published in an unnamed hair magazine!!). As we were going from place to place we were discussing their wedding. It turns out that they rescheduled their wedding date to fit my availability!! And I didn’t even know this until yesterday!! Well, you can’t imagine how honored I felt. More-so than usual, really, because, I mean, how often does a couple schedule the most important day of their lives around my schedule? Well, we ROCKED yesterday and, Steve and Katie, I promise that we will do even better on your wedding day. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to be your photographer. Greg and Amy’s Cuyahoga Falls Ohio wedding

Yesterday Greg and Amy got married!! The day started at at Amy’s parents house where Amy had her hair done. Then on to Hair Innovations, in Hudson, Ohio for make-up. The ceremony took place that the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and finally the reception was at Guy’s Party Center in Akron, Ohio. The day went wonderfully and without a single hitch (as long as the Tum’s was nearby Greg and Amy were perfect; adventurous and patient. They allowed me the perfect amount of time for me to “do what I do.” I am grateful for that. Although it was super hot outside, the wedding party didn’t complain one time while we were out in it getting some images at the Falls Riverfront Square District in Cuyahoga Falls. Amy is getting married today!!

I am so excited to be photographing Greg and Amy’s wedding today. As part of our initial investment, all of our bridal clients get a bridal session included. This session takes place on the day that the bride gets her hair and make-up trial done (to make sure that they do it correctly on her wedding day). Amy’s session was about a month ago and I’ve been chomping at the bit to show some of the images. Amy was a little nervous at the beginning but after she saw how beautiful she was she was definitely ready for her wedding day. I am SUPER stoked to be taking part in her day today and I know I’ll be anxious to blog some of her wedding day images.
