This weekend was Ben and Andrea’s first engagement session. We decided to do it at the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum. It was convenient to them and always offers great opportunities for great images. We will be photographing their wedding September of 2012.
Last week I got to catch up with past bridal clients Scotty and Tina Heiberg. They wanted a family portrait session with their baby Cooper. Cooper was the perfect model. He sat when we needed him to. His ears were perfectly perky. And he didn’t drool at all (not that he does that a lot). We wanted to have the session on the grounds of the Hale Farm and Village, but they don’t allow furry babies (Boo to that!!) So we had to be creative in our approach…stay off of the grounds while having them in our images. I think we did OK. And Cooper was super duper!! Here are just a couple images.
Today I had the extreme pleasure of photographing 12 day old Katie. Katie is the daughter and first child of John and Karen Logan. I was honored to photograph John and Karen’s wedding back in 2007 so it was great seeing them again (it was also pretty cool to see my work hanging all over their home. As past bridal clients, John and Karen enjoy incentives to have Spencer Photography photograph…really whatever they want. Well today, was their beautiful daughter, Katie. Here are just a few images.
Yesterday I had the rare opportunity to create maternity images for Dominic and Jen, who are expecting their first child and daughter, Mela, in a few weeks. I say “rare opportunity” because I am primarily a wedding photographer. Hopefully, I will get more opportunities to do this type of session because it was so interesting to me to be creating images that a soon to be born child (Mela) will one day be able to appreciate. I would like to thank my client, Allison Gambone (who was recently married in Akron, Ohio and had her reception at the Firestone Country Club) and her mom Leslie, for referring such great people, Dominic and Jen. Here are just a few images from the session.
I have been photographing Amber with her Daughter, Gwenyth, since before Gwenyth was one year old. It’s been fun to watch Gwen grow up, and I have to say she is quite the little poser. She loves the camera and on this beautiful Sunday at Bab Run and Bird Sanctuary in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, we were able to capture all of them at their best. Watch for some images of their dogs, soon.
This image was Gwenyth's idea. She wanted a picture with her little freind, Laney.
