Melanie’s Barberton Ohio Senior Portrait Session – Cleveland Senior Photography
Melanie is 1/3 of the session that I did on Sunday. She is a senior at Norton High School. Melanie insisted that we capture images of her smiling…I think we’ve accomplished her goal. Be sure to leave Melanie a comment below and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Cleveland Senior Portraits – Cleveland Ohio Senior Photography
Yesterday evening I met with Justin, Madison and Melanie for their senior portrait session. Three separate seniors, you ask? All in one session, you ask? THAT’S RIGHT!! After speaking with Justin and Madison’s mom, Terri, we decided that , based on what they wanted, it would be beneficial to do all three session at the same! The session went great, Justin, Madison and Melanie were great. We had some great suggestions from their parents. The weather was perfect. Justin and Madison will be seniors at Barberton High School and Melanie will be a senior at Norton High School. I will be posting three separate posts for each of them. Here are a few images from Justin’s share of the session. Be sure to leave Justin a comment below and to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Tyler’s Akron Senior Portraits – Cleveland Senior Portrait Photography
Yesterday evening I met Tyler, his mom, Christine, and his step-mom, Julie, in downtown Akron for Tyler’s senior portrait session (all of our sessions are on location, rather than in a studio). When your client shows up with multiple changes of clothing (which we never limit) in a garment bag, you know you have your work cut out for you. But, Tyler was great. He allowed me to do my thing, which at times can seem unusual, and he was very enthusiastic about getting something different, which I am ALL about. One challenge for me was to get an image of Tyler with his trumpet, but do it in a way that was…cool. I’ll let you decide if we succeeded. Tyler will be a senior at Wadsworth High School this year and I want to wish him the best. Here are just a few of the images from the session. Be sure to leave Tyler some love in the comment section below, and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Rob and Jessica’s Cleveland Photography Session
Yesterday I met with Rob and Jessica in downtown Cleveland Ohio for their engagement session. They will be getting married next year at Cuyahoga Valley Church with their reception to follow at St. Michael’s Woodside in Broadview Heights. It was a beautiful day and we were finding little spots of beautiful light all over. Here are a few images from the session. Be sure to leave Rob and Jessica a comment, below, and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Jessica said she was a little nervous about getting her pictures taken. Based on this, I can’t imagine why.
Drum Fantasy Camp in Cleveland Ohio
If you know me (and know me well) you will have known that, at one time, I was a semi-professional musician (a polite term for “weekend warrior). I was a drummer in a variety of bands playing a plethora of styles, doing it mostly for the pure love of it. Since becoming a professional photographer 12 years ago I have had to put my drumsticks away (I can only obsess over one art form at a time). But, when I had the opportunity to participate in the Drum Fantasy Camp in Cleveland Ohio as their photographer, I jumped at the chance. The camp features, in my opinion, five of the most amazing and influential drummers today: Keith Carlock, Peter Erskine, Will Kennedy, Steve Smith and Dave Weckl. These images are from the first day of camp and the first night concert. Very difficult to stay focused with capturing their images when I am standing there in awe dragging my jaw across the floor.
Will and Nicole’s Brandywine Falls Photo Session
It was PERFECT! Full sun, a nice breeze. A great day for a photo session with Will and Nicole. I will be photographing their wedding next year. I met Will and Nicole thru Nicole’s sister Ashley (Hi Ashley!!) who’s wedding I will be photographing THIS year. They were really great and had some great ideas, which most of you will (eventually) see.
Here are a few images from their session. Be sure to leave them a comment below and be sure to “Like” Spencer Photography on Facebook.
Emil and Carmen’s Severance Hall and University Circle Photo Session
It was a hot one…meaning it was 95 degrees at and around Severance Hall and University Circle in Cleveland on Friday. But Emil and Carmen were more than good sports. They were like veterans in front of the camera, doing everything that I wanted them to do and more. A lot of times without even being prompted. We even moseyed into Severance Hall for a few images (at one point, one of the Cleveland Orchestra‘s oboist was practicing and, I have to tell you, words could not describe the beauty that was emanating from the hall). Emil and Carmen are getting married next month at St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church in Cleveland and I am very anxious for their day. We’ve discussed some great ideas. Here are a few images from their session in University Circle. Be sure to leave Emil and Carmen a comment, below, and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Andy and Taylor’s Old Stone Church Wedding and Cleveland Courthouse Reception – cleveland wedding photographers
Yesterday was Andy and Taylor’s wedding. They picked three of Cleveland’s finest landmarks for their day. The day started at the Cleveland Arcade and the Hyatt in downtown Cleveland. Taylor had her hair and make-up done at the Merengo Spa right inside the Arcade. Then it was on to the Old Stone Church in Public Square (the oldest building on Public Square). The church is beautiful and the ceremony went splendidly. Then it was immediately off to the Cleveland Courthouse (or the Old Courthouse in Cleveland), again, a beautiful venue and one of Cleveland’s most popular for wedding receptions. Tim, of Rock the House (one of their best in my view) kept the party hopping and the dance floor full all night. Andy, Taylor their wedding party and families couldn’t have been nicer. It made for a very smooth and pleasant day and we would like to thank them all, especially Andy and Taylor, for allowing us the honor of documenting their historic day. Here are a few images from the day.
