Yesterday, I met Olivia for her senior portrait session. She was a little nervous at first, like everyone usually is, but I knew after capturing the first couple of images that she would do just great. Olivia is a senior at Barberton High School and she wanted her senior pictures to be different. That is exactly what my goal is when taking senior pictures. We walked around downtown Barberton and, as I always do, looked for the best spots of light. By the end of the session I would say that Olivia was ready for the cover of Vogue Magazine. Yesterday I met with Dustin and his mom for his senior year portrait session in downtown Barberton, Ohio. Dustin is a senior at Barberton High School where he plays baseball (pitcher and first base). It was important for Dustin to get some images at the baseball diamond and also to incorporate, if possible, a good sunset. I think we accomplished that goal. Here are a few images from the session. Yesterday was Abbey’s senior year portrait session. Abbey’s is best friend’s with Nikki, who I photographed last year -here- and who was with Abbey and her mom throughout the three hour session (That’s right!! Three hours!!) Abbey is a senior at Barberton High School. She wanted an autumn session (duh!) and also wanted to incorporate her participation in Barberton’s volleyball team. So, we drove around Barberton until we ended up at the high school for pictures in the gym and in their completely awesome locker rooms. Abbey, her mom, and my unpaid assistant, Nikki were great. Here are a few images. Be sure to leave Abbey a comment, below, and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
When Justin and his mom told me that they had access to the Barberton High School Theater and asked if we could do a short session there, I jumped at the chance. A unique location with, for the most part, controllable lighting… it was perfect. We primarily used the house spotlight as our main light source and Justin did the rest. Here are a few of the images. Yesterday I met with Breanne for her senior year portraits. Breanne is a senior at Barberton High School and is also the senior class president. It was a beautiful day without a single cloud in the sky and Bree did fantastic. Be sure to leave her a comment below and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
And last but not least, here are some of Madison’s images. Madison is Justin’s twin sister and they are both cousins of Melanie. Madison is a senior at Barberton High School and is on the varsity soccer team (Barberton just beat Glen Oak, the Alma Mater of my assistant, Renee, and she scored two of their three goals!!! Way to go Madison!!!) Be sure to leave Madison a comment below and remember to “Like” Spencer Photography on Facebook.
Yesterday evening I met with Justin, Madison and Melanie for their senior portrait session. Three separate seniors, you ask? All in one session, you ask? THAT’S RIGHT!! After speaking with Justin and Madison’s mom, Terri, we decided that , based on what they wanted, it would be beneficial to do all three session at the same! The session went great, Justin, Madison and Melanie were great. We had some great suggestions from their parents. The weather was perfect. Justin and Madison will be seniors at Barberton High School and Melanie will be a senior at Norton High School. I will be posting three separate posts for each of them. Here are a few images from Justin’s share of the session. Be sure to leave Justin a comment below and to “Like” Spencer Photography Inc. on Facebook.
Yesterday, I had a brief session with Breanne, the daughter of my clients and friends, Shelli and Pat Brady. Breanne will be promoting Spencer Photography Inc. at Barberton High School. We do a limited number of senior year portraits each year and when we do them, we try to make them as unique as we can. Here are a few images from the session:
Nikki is a senior at Barberton High school. She was referred to me by another Barberton senior, Alex Norman (see his portraits here) THANK YOU ALEX!! Nikki was so easy to work with and it shows in her images. I think that she and her mom were a little nervous at first because I wanted to start in their living room. But, after the first image, we all new that it would be a great session. Add to that that when we started it was sunny without a cloud in the sky, and when we finished it was nice and cloudy…PERFECT. Here are a few images from the session. Thank you to Nikki’s mom for getting us into the high school for the images in the gymnasium.
