Yesterday I had the distinct honor of photographing the family of one of my favorite wedding coordinators. Brandi Hamerstone, of All Events Planned, and her husband Alex, recently welcomed their new son, James into their family. I’ve already met their doll of a daughter, Elizabeth, and on this day I would get to photograph them all. Brandi’s mother was there to help out so we took advantage of having three generations in one room. I was also able to create a new professional head shot for Brandi (which was like pulling teeth!!). I want to thank the Hamerstone’s for allowing me the honor of documenting their family at this important stage of their lives.

Yesterday was Bill and Melissa’s wedding at The Club at Hillbrook, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. There were a lot of details and effort put into their day and it showed. The Club at Hillbrook is a fabulous site for a wedding and reception and Melanie and all of the staff there did a fantastic job. They were there for every need for everyone. Bill and Melissa were great as was their wonderful families and bridal party (I learned how to say “Pastor” in Australian English!!) A strong sense of family was evident throughout the day and as and artist and documentarian, what more could I ask for?
